A significant event in personal development is learning about the lives and works of great men who have forged a path for us to follow. Traveler, if there is a path, it is that of the great contributors to thought, emotion, knowledge—the fruitful and genuine authors who have truly bequeathed to us a visionary and prolific body of work. The man behind this legacy is Isidro Sinesio Delgado García, born on December 12, 1859, in "Támara, a small village of 90 residents in the judicial district of Astudillo, in the province of Palencia." A doctor by profession, though not by vocation, he later studied Law. In rare moments, he exchanged poetry and literary articles with his friends, fellow members of his intellectual circle. As a result, his first poetic composition became known in 1880. Thus, the year 1880 marked a new projection and perspective for his future.
