Biography of the Illustrious Isidro Sinesio Delgado García

The man behind this legacy is Isidro Sinesio Delgado García, born on December 12, 1859, in "Támara, a small village of 90 residents in the judicial district of Astudillo, in the province of Palencia." A doctor by profession, though not by vocation, he later studied Law. In rare moments, he exchanged poetry and literary articles with his friends, fellow members of his intellectual circle. As a result, his first poetic composition became known in 1880. Thus, the year 1880 marked a new projection and perspective for his future.
